Penn's 280-acre urban campus is located in the Philadelphia neighborhood known as University City, just across the Schuylkill River from Center City. All Penn facilities except the Morris Arboretum and the New Bolton Center large-animal hospital are located on the University City campus.

Penn received 22,646 applications for admission to the Class of 2011. Of those applicants, 3,628, or 16 percent, were offered admission. Ninety-six percent of the students admitted for Fall 2007 came from the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class and scored an average of 1,431 on the SAT. 2,397 students matriculated into this year's freshman class.
- What kind of financial aid do you offer?
Penn offers a variety of grant and loan packages, including an enhanced financial aid package known as the Mayor's Scholarship for graduates of Philadelphia public, private and parochial high schools. Penn practices need-blind admissions; no student will be denied admission based on ability to pay. Whatever your circumstances, Penn has programs designed to make attending affordable.

Yes. The PennAdvance program offers qualified students the opportunity to earn Penn undergraduate credit online.We also have online learning programs in engineering (master's), continuing medical education, continuing nursing education and executive education.
