Dr. David Goodman, Medicine
Dr. David B. P. Goodman, professor of pathology and laboratory medicine and director of the endocrinology oncology lab, died on February 17 at Lankenau Hospital. He was 60 years old.

Services are scheduled to be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20 at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks,Inc. at 6410 North Broad Street. The Goodman Family plans to sit Shiva on Wednesday evening, February 19, Thursday, February 20, after the burial until the evening and Friday, February 21 afternoon until sundown.

Jim Hobbs, Physics and Astronomy
Jim Hobbs, a former staff member in the department of physics and astronomy, from January 15, 1960 to his retirement July 1, 1993 passed away Monday, February 17 while shoveling snow. He was 78 years old.

A memorial service for Mr. Hobbs will be held on Friday, February 21 at 11 a.m. at the Aldan Union Church, 7 East Providence Road, (corner of Providence Road and Clifton Avenue).

Mr. Hobbs began his career in the department as a machinist, was later responsible for lecture demonstrations and also served as the building administrator of DRL.
