Resignation of EVP Clifford Stanley

President Judith Rodin announced today, October 1, that "General Clifford Stanley has resigned from his position as Executive Vice President of the University, effective October 10, 2003. Between now and June 30, 2004, the end of my term as President, the Vice Presidents who reported to General Stanley will again report directly to me, as they did before General Stanley's arrival. We have much to accomplish during this period, and I believe that this structure will serve us well."
He began his position as EVP at Penn last October (Almanac September 10, 2002).
"I wish General Stanley all the best as he pursues other opportunities. I am sure you will all want to provide him your good wishes as he prepares to leave the University for other endeavors, " Dr. Rodin added.
