ALMANAC BETWEEN ISSUES March 6, 2002

Museum Closed This Saturday

The University of Pennsylvania Museum will be closed Saturday, March 9, due to scheduled electric power shutdown while the University completes necessary work on a power plant sub-station which supplies electricity to the Museum and other University buildings.

The Children's Workshop, "What's Dot Down Under?," scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, is cancelled.

However, the Banff Mountain Film Festival, beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 in the Museum's Harrison Auditorium (entrance from 33rd Street), will continue as scheduled.

The Museum will resume normal Sunday hours, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., March 10.

Correction:

The Parsons Dance Company, which was inadvertently listed in the March AT PENN, will perform at the Annenberg Center April 5 and 6.

Reminders:

Due to Spring Break, when the campus population is normally down, there is no issue of Almanac on Tuesday, March 12. The next issue is the March 29 issue. March 12 is the deadline for that issue as well as for the April AT PENN calendar.
