The Philadelphia Police Department has issued a composite sketch of a man wanted in the investigation of a homicide on May 7, 1998, in Center City.
The man is suspected of murdering Shannon Schieber, the 23-year-old Wharton doctoral student at her apartment on the 200 block of South 23rd Street. He is also suspected of raping two other women in 1997; one of the victims helped police prepare this sketch.
The description given by the PPD is as follows:
olive skinned male
approximately 25 years,
approximately 5'10",
thin build,
short dark hair.
