WXPN observes the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance, Sept. 14, 2001

Morning Show -- "Student Views"- News director Bob Bumbera talks with University of Penn students who reflect on their hopes, fears and thoughts about the past days' events.

The Leicht Lunch with Helen Leicht--Starting at Noon, WXPN will broadcast the University of Pennsylvania Gathering for Remembrance, a memorial service held at Houston Hall. Featuring thoughts, reflections and musical selections on faith and remembrance from University of Penn President JudithRodin and clergy from the Jewish, Islamic and Christian communities.

World Cafe-- The legendary gospel group the Blind Boys of Alabama are David Dye's guests

Kids Corner Presents "Hope and Remembrance"- Kathy O'Connell and Susan Hartre, campus minister from University of Pennsylvania's Newman Center will explore issues of spirituality, inspiration, the importance of prayer and reflection with kids, taking phone calls and allowing kids to share their voices and thoughts and hopes about these issues and what the future may hold. Additionally, Kathy will explore spirituality and affirmation through songs.
