ALMANAC BETWEEN ISSUES September 13, 2001
We have learned that the American Red Cross will be accepting blood donations on campus today between 2 and 7 p.m., in the rooftop lounge of Harrison House, a student dormitory on Spruce Street between 39th and 40th.
It is our understanding that the Red Cross will process 100 units of blood (from an equal number of donors), so please understand that blood-collection activities may stop as soon as the appropriate amount of blood has been obtained.
All Penn faculty, staff, and students who wish to donate blood at the Harrison House site should be prepared to present appropriate campus identification.
Individuals are also strongly encouraged to call the American Red Cross, at 1 (800) 448-3543, to learn of other opportunities to donate.
