Ancient Voices, directed by William Parberry, will
be presenting Christmas music of the Middle Ages and Renaissance on November
23 at 3 p.m. in the Cathedral Church of the Saviour, 38th and Chestnut Streets.
Ancient Voices is an a cappella chorus of the Renaissance. They have
performed for the American Chaucer Society, the Medieval Academy of America,
and at the Walters Art Gallery. Programs have been devoted to the music
of Dufay, Desprez, Gibbons, Byrd, and Lassus, among others. Tickets: $8;
