Date to Mark: Penn Family Day

A Penn Family Day for faculty and staff along with their families and friends is scheduled for Saturday, October 17. The activities will include a picnic at 11:30 a.m. on Hill Field, preceding the Penn-Columbia Football Game that afternoon as well as free admission to the University Museum to tour their photographic exhibition, An Italian Journey. More information about these activities will be forthcoming.

Date to Mark: 25-Year Club

With more details to be announced, the Twenty-Five Year Club's chair, Dr. Helen C. Davies, notes that faculty and staff who are members of the Club can expect invitations to two fall events:

Saturday, October 17: Brunch will be at the Faculty Club from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with tickets available for the 1:30 p.m. Penn-Columbia Football Game at Franklin Field.

Monday, November 16: The Twenty-Five Year Club's annual celebration begins at with dual receptions at 5 p.m. in the University Museum (for new members and their partners in the Lower Egypt Gallery, and for existing members in Upper Egypt). The groups merge for dinner at 6 p.m. in the Chinese Rotunda.
