PA Tax Exemption on Computer Purchases: February 17-24

The Penn Computer Connection announces that during the week of February 17-24, 2002, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has declared that any individual may buy a personal computer, peripheral device or internet access device tax-free. We're excited to be able to provide the Penn community with an opportunity to take advantage of both our normal academic discount and the tax exemption.

In order to qualify for the tax exemption, the purchase must be made during the period beginning February 17 and ending February 24. This is a short window and there are several guidelines that we must adhere to strictly; however, we will make every effort to accommodate the Penn community.

In anticipation of the exemption period, we have increased our in-stock inventory. For those orders that cannot be filled immediately, payment must still be made in-full during the designated period; delivery will occur once the items become available.

For more information regarding the sales tax exemption, visit our website at www.upenn.edu/computerstore.
