Penn Presents: Annenberg Center

Natalie MacMaster, a master fiddler and strong proponent of Celetic music tradition, will perform on March 15. As part of Penn Presents New Music Series, Relache Ensemble will perform on March 22. This repertoire plays classical compositions while embracing contemporary music.

Rhythm in Shoes is a company of dancers and musicians that draws the traditional forms of American music ranging from dance-swing tunes and tap to hoedowns and clogging. They will perform on March 25. Philip Glass, pianist/composer will perform March 1. Concert will feature Glass' most recent Etudes for piano and classics in his repertoire.

Rick Miller performs MacHomer, a one-man show on March 1. Performance includes Miller reproducing 50 voices of Matt Groening's The Simpsons, including Homer as MacBeth and Marge as Lady MacBeth.

Kimowan McLain's Without Ground creates a narrative of Native American diaspora. Using manipulated photo images transferred directly to the wall, Without Ground marches like film imagery in a line of figures stretching the length of the ICA's Ramp Corridor.
