Retirement Education Seminars Human Resources is sponsoring several retirement education seminars next week. Retirement experts from TIAA-CREF and The Vanguard Group are on campus to speak about several topics, including: investment basics, making the most of tax-deferral, understanding Penn's retirement plans, and retirement distribution options. All seminars will be held in Bodek Lounge, Houston Hall.

Vice Provost for Research is a neuroscientist who had previously been chair
of pharmacology here for 14 years. President Rodin
has asked Dr.
Dennis Culhane to convene a group to address concerns about the 10/11
incident, including racial profiling. An endowed
chair for a long-time member of the biology faculty. The Faculty
Senate's slate of nominees for the Nominating Committee. A new
award for teaching and mentoring Ph.D. students. The State
of the University was presented to Council; the President addressed the endowment,
diversity, the community, and facilities. Penn's
