Penn Alexander Open House

The Penn Alexander School will have an open house on Tuesday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. for families who are looking for a K-8 school for the 2004-05 school year. Developed by Penn, the School District of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers, this public, neighborhood school provides a rich academic program complemented by music, art, Spanish, computer and library sciences, and physical education in  a state-of-the-art building (Almanac October 15, 2002). The school is located at 4209 Spruce Street in a park-like setting.  Students must live within the catchment area to be eligible to attend.
