$2 Million Grant for Dermatology from Annenberg Foundation
The Annenberg Foundation is donating $2 million to the department of dermatology at the School of Medicine to provide major support for educational programs—critical to the training of the next generation of leaders in academic and clinical dermatology.

Baccalaureate Speaker
This year’s Baccalaureate speaker will be Dr. Eboo Patel, the founder and executive director of the Interfaith Youth Core in Chicago. Dr. Patel earned his doctorate in the sociology of religion from the University of Oxford.

Vartan Gregorian Professor in the Humanities: Jean-Michel Rabaté
SAS Dean Rebecca Bushnell appointed Dr. Jean-Michel Rabaté, professor of English, who also teaches comparative literature, as the inaugural holder of the Vartan Gregorian Professorship in the Humanities. 
Grad School Rankings
The latest U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of best graduate schools includes four of Penn’s schools once again this year. Excerpts will be released in the magazine’s April 11 issue, while the complete survey is in the just-released book, America’s Best Graduate Schools.
