Grad School Rankings

The latest U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of best graduate schools includes four of Penn’s schools once again this year (see below). Excerpts will be released in the magazine’s April 11 issue, while the complete survey is in the just-released book, America’s Best Graduate Schools. Last year’s annual rankings are in parentheses:

  • #4    Medicine—research oriented (#4)
  • #7    Education (#9)
  • #7    Law (#7)
  • #29  School of Engineering  (#26)

The Wharton School’s top specialties are:

  • #1    Accounting (not ranked)
  • #1    Finance (#1)
  • #2    Executive M.B.A. (#2)
  • #2    Marketing (#2)
  • #3    Entrepreneurship (#3)
  • #3    International (#3)
  • #4    Production/Operations (#4)
  • #5    Management (#5)
  • #6    Supply Chain/Logistics (#5)
  • #8    Information Systems  (#6)
  • #10  Nonprofit (not ranked)

These rankings are based solely on ratings by educators at peer business schools.

The School of Medicine’s top specialties are:

  • #2    Pediatrics (#3)
  • #3    Women’s Health (#2)
  • #5    Internal Medicine (#6)
  • #7    Drug/Alcohol Abuse (#6)

The School of Education’s top speciality is:
