University City’s Visitors’ Guide: Highlights the Area Resources

Visitors' Guide

University City District (UCD) announces the arrival of the 3rd edition of University City Visitors’ Guide, showcasing the 2.2 square mile area in which Penn is located. The University City Visitors’ Guide contains 36 color pages featuring over 100 dining, food and spirits options, over 50 galleries, museums and cultural offerings, 4-star hotels and Victorian bed and breakfasts, unique shops, and information on residential neighborhoods boasting century old architecture. It is an attractive, comprehensive brochure including many new features and listings, an expanded shopping section, climate, transportation and parking information, and many other helpful resources for visitors.

“As University City experiences momentum in the areas of performing arts, retail and dining, we’re proud to present a guide that highlights these exceptional opportunities,” said Lewis Wendell, UCD’s executive director. “We welcome visitors from near and far and hope this helps make each visit enjoyable, memorable, and maybe even inspirational,” he added.

Contact UCD at (215) 243-0555 or e-mail mark@ucityphila.org to obtain copies of the new Visitors’ Guide to give to new faculty and staff, and visitors to campus. Up to 100 copies of the guide are given away at no charge. A nominal fee per copy is charged for requests over 100.
