AIDS in 2007: Building a Health Care Movement will be the topic of the Dean’s Forum Lecture. The Forum will take place on March 14, at 4:30 p.m. in Irvine Auditorium. Presenter Dr. Paul Farmer, medical anthropologist, physician and co-founder of Partners in Health, has dedicated his life to caring for some of the world’s poorest and sickest populations. Dr. Farmer is the Maude and Lillian Presley Professor of Social Medicine at the Harvard Medicine School. He divides much of his time between the Harvard medical complex and Clinique Bon Saveur, the hospital he founded in Haiti.
