Supplemental LTD Enrollment Deadline Extended to March 30

You can still apply for Penn’s new Supplemental Long-Term Disability (LTD) program—the deadline has been extended until March 30, 2007.  We’ve had a strong interest in this important benefit, and we want to ensure that everyone has enough time to understand the program and apply during this one-time-only guaranteed coverage offering.  Supplemental LTD helps you protect more of your income if you become disabled and are unable to work for an extended period of time.

If you’re a full-time faculty or staff member, you should have received information at your home address in February.  If you’re interested in this program and never received or no longer have your personalized enrollment guide, please contact the plan administrator at 1-877-321-4427 or UPenn@IncomeBenefit.com. Representatives are available to answer any questions you might have and to provide you with the necessary application forms. Remember that this is your only opportunity to apply for this benefit without having to show proof of good health. Make sure your completed application is postmarked no later than March 30.
