AAAS Correction
May 22, 2007, Volume 53, No. 34

Dr. Aaron T. Beck and Dr. Haig H. Kazazian, have been named Fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In the May 8, 2007 issue’s Honors column, it should have read, “Two Penn School of Medicine faculty members have been named Fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences: Dr. Aaron T. Beck, University Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry–one of this year’s Honorary Degree recipients—and Dr. Haig H. Kazazian, Jr., Seymour Gray Professor of Molecular Medicine in Genetics. (Dr. Kazazian is no longer the chair of the department). Founded in 1780, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences is an independent policy research center that conducts multidisciplinary studies of complex and emerging problems. The Academy’s elected members are leaders in the academic disciplines, the arts, business, and public affairs. We regret the errors.
