Call for Artwork
September 18, 2007, Volume 54, No. 4

The Burrison Gallery is calling for artwork to be considered for exhibitions this academic year. Any Penn faculty, staff, alumni or members of their family may submit work for consideration.

The Burrison Gallery is an entity of the University Club, a private club for faculty and staff, as well as associate members who include post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and alumni at Penn. The Gallery provides a venue for artists in the University community, and the West Philadelphia community. Maurice Burrison’s vision was to encourage artistic freedom. His legacy continues as the Burrison Gallery emphasizes the role of art and culture in strengthening collaborative relationships across the University and with the surrounding community.

Submittal packages should include slides, photos, or CDs of work; the artist’s bio; their relationship to Penn and a brief description of the work; medium, technique, etc. Please send to: Ilene Wilder, chair, Burrison Gallery Advisory Committee, ilenee@pobox.upenn.edu, 3401 Walnut Street, 4th floor, Philadelphia, PA 19104-6228.
