Treasured Pages: Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts from the Free Library of Philadelphia at the Arthur Ross Gallery through January 6, features codices and single leaves from one of the most significant collections of Western European illuminated manuscripts in the US. The exhibition addresses diverse themes based on subject matter and use: Ritual, Devotion and Prayer, Learning and Leisure, and Politics and Law, and the Bible. Guest curated by Lynn Ransom in collaboration with Jim DeWalt, Head of Rare Book Department of the Free Library.
