Staff Changes at OGCA

Ginny L. Davis, DH ’80, CGS ’98, GEd ’06, was recently promoted to the position of associate director of the Office of Government and Community Affairs (OGCA). In this new position she will administer strategic initiatives involving Penn’s external constituencies. Ms. Davis came to Penn in 2001 to work in Federal Affairs. In 2006, she became involved in the advancement of Commonwealth Relations projects. She formerly worked with the Pennsylvania Humanities Council as a development and government relations associate.

Amy E. Everwine joined the OGCA as the administrative coordinator on February 18. She will coordinate administrative functions across OGCA’s Washington, Harrisburg, and campus offices. Ms. Everwine has an associate of science in business administration from Gloucester County College. Before coming to Penn, she was an account executive at Careers USA. Prior to that she spent seven years as an account manager with a marketing and promotions firm in Cherry Hill.

David B. Glancey was recently hired as director of special projects in OGCA. He graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 1966 and from Villanova University Law School in 1975. Mr. Glancey served on the Philadelphia Board of Revision of Taxes for 24 years and was chairman of that board for 18 years. Mr. Glancey also serves on the boards of the Academy of Community Music and of CeaseFire PA.
