Data from the seventh week (3/10–3/15) of RecycleMania is now in—Penn is on the move!

Note: Due to Spring Break weeks, participation and reporting variances may impact rankings. Week #7 was Penn’s Spring Break week.

Per Capita Classic: Schools compete to see which can collect the largest amount of acceptable recyclables per person—Penn collected 10.10 lbs. per person and ranks 75th up from a starting rank of 97th.

Gorilla Prize: Honors the school that recycles the highest gross tonnage of materials regardless of campus population—Penn has maintains its ranking of 15 out of 166.

Waste Minimization: Schools compete to see which produces the least amount of municipal solid waste (including both recyclables and trash) per person—Penn is ranked 38th up from 46th.

Grand Champion: Recognizes the school that, based on their combined results, demonstrates the greatest achievement in both source reduction and recycling—Penn has moved up to 52nd, again its highest ranking so far!
