A panel discussion, Women Who Rule, will take place on Wednesday, October 15, at 4:30-6:30 p.m. in room 110 of the Annenberg School for Communication. SAS Dean Rebecca Bushnell will serve as moderator with President Amy Gutmann, Christopher H. Browne Distinguished Professor in Political Science; Dr. Mary Frances Berry, Segal Professor of American Social Thought and professor of history; Dr. Ruth M. S. Fischer, training and supervising analyst, Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia; and Dr. Kathleen Hall Jamieson, director, Penn’s Annenberg Center for Public Policy, serving as panelists.

This is part of the seminar series: Freud, Franklin and Beyond: A Contemporary Interdisciplinary Forum on Psychology and Society. This major collaborative initiative is the creation of Penn’s department of psychiatry and the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. These educational programs are focused on interdisciplinary exploration of topics related to psychology and society. The goal of these seminars is to create and disseminate new knowledge and new ideas about the relationship of psychology and society through interdisciplinary discussion in the public setting.
