Bringing New Ideas to the Thanksgiving Table: Conventional Twists on American Classics will be the theme on Wednesday, November 19, at 6:30 p.m. Join us as Chef Eileen Watkin shares her techniques to cook a perfect turkey as well as how to make butternut squash soup, cranberry sauce, and apple cobbler with mascarpone. Of course, enjoy a taste of all of the dishes. Chef Eileen, formerly at Penne Restaurant, now oversees the main Inn at Penn hotel kitchen which includes the University Club lunch and special events. She has been with us only since late summer so this is your opportunity to meet Chef Eileen and welcome her to the Club. The cost is $27 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Space is limited. Reservations required: (215) 898 4618 or universityclub@pobox.upenn.edu
