Thanksgiving: Recognized Holiday
Thanksgiving is a recognized holiday, observed by Penn on Thursday and Friday, November 27-28.
No classes are held either day.
Library Holiday Hours
Thanksgiving weekend hours for the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library will be as follows:
Wednesday, November 26: 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Thursday, November 27: Closed
Friday, November 28: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, November 29: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday, November 30: 10 a.m.-midnight

Thanksgiving Centerpiece Class
The Morris Arboretum is offering a seasonal design class, Arranging the Harvest, Saturday, November 22, 10 a.m.–noon.Combine flowers, fruits and vegetables in a colorful Thanksgiving centerpiece for your entertaining. Worried about holiday weight gain? Penn Fit is a free healthy lifestyle program open to all Penn faculty, staff and students. The program offers monthly lectures, workshops and activities that are focused on fitness and wellness. Events take place at Pottruck Center.
