$20,000 Reward for Information Leading to Arrest and Conviction

An award will be offered for the arrest and conviction of the suspect wanted in connection with the home invasion/rape at 44th & Spruce Street on December 19, 2008. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit (SVU), the Citizen’s Crime Commission and the Division of Public Safety held a press conference at the Special Victims Unit Headquarters, to announce a $20,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator. See the University of Pennsylvania Division of Public Safety website, www.publicsafety.upenn.edu/ for a sketch of the suspect.

Tips must be given through the Citizens Crime Commission Tip Line by calling: (215) 546-TIPS (8477). The Citizens Crime Commission increased the reward from $5,000 to $20,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this man. Information must be called in to the Crime Commission Tipline, and the caller must obtain a code number from the operator. The caller’s anonymity will be protected.
