Update on Meningococcal Infection	Print Issue

On March 7, Penn issued a health advisory that has been updated almost daily. The hospitalized undergraduate student remains in critical but stable condition (as of March 15). Identified close contacts of the student who need preventative treatment have been notified. There are no additional suspected or confirmed cases of meningococcal infection. There is no evidence to suggest that the current case of meningococcal infection is connected to previously confirmed cases involving Penn students.
