Students will become immersed in a unique approach to consulting and coaching education that integrates Penn’s academic excellence, real-world experience and a cohort approach to learning. The program delivers classes one weekend each month including individualized mentoring by a dedicated faculty team with decades of for-profit and non-profit organizational consulting and executive coaching experience.
Organizations are increasingly looking to consultants and coaches for support and assistance in overcoming challenges posed by a highly complex environment. As the interest in the field has progressed, savvy leaders are seeking consultants and coaches who are highly qualified to help successfully guide people and business into the future. Upon completion, graduates will achieve greater professional effectiveness and will be prepared to successfully help leaders navigate organizations in turbulent conditions.
Candidates for admission include those with at least five years of management experience and the motivation to gain the competencies to act as an internal or external coach/consultant. The program is ideal for senior leaders in organizations who want to use consulting and coaching strategies to lead internal change. In addition, the program will deliver value to leaders who want to make a career transition to consulting as well as those who want to strengthen their competencies as consultants and coaches.
For over 30 years, the Organizational Dynamics program at the University of Pennsylvania has helped professionals develop the integrated knowledge and abilities required to successfully navigate this increasingly complex world. The Master of Science and Master of Philosophy degree programs have more than 420 adult, working professional students, and have produced more than 2200 alumni drawn from workplaces across the United States and abroad.
