Mr. Nwannunu, Penn Senior
Kenneth Nwannunu, a senior in the College, passed away September 23 while studying abroad in Shanghai, China for the semester. He was 21. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
A resident of Alloway Township, NJ, Mr. Nwannunu attended Woodland Country Day School before coming to Penn. He was a philosophy, politics and economics major at Penn and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was a summer intern in 2008 at the Pennsylvania Gazette.
Mr. Nwannunu is survived by his parents, Denise Williams and John Nwannunu; sister, Florence Amara Nwannunu; and a brother, Nelson Nwannunu.
A funeral service will be held near campus. Details were not available at press time.
