2010 Model Supervisor Award Winner

At this year’s Models of Excellence Ceremony on April 6, the Model Supervisor Award was presented to Sharon Moorer Aylor, executive director of the staff and labor relations department in the Division of Human Resources. She received a symbol of appreciation and a $500 cash award in honor of this recognition. She was selected from three finalists for the 2010 Model Supervisor Award, each of whom was nominated for their outstanding supervisory behaviors, including fairness, strong leadership and exceptional managerial skills. The two other finalists were Janice M. Orlov, budget director for finance and administration at Wharton and Carol Pooser, executive director for external affairs in the School of Arts and Sciences. Both received a symbol of appreciation and a $250 cash award.
