Tree Planting on College Green

On April 7, Penn and community volunteers planted trees on College Green to celebrate the University’s earning the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus USA designation. Penn is one of 74 schools across the country to be recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a 2009 Tree Campus USA school and was one of five schools to have a tree planting event to celebrate this honor.
