Revised Patent Policy: The recently revised “Patent and Tangible Research Property Policies and Procedures” was published OF RECORD in the July 13 issue of Almanac as a 12-page supplement. It is available online as a PDF on Almanac’s website.

AUNI Grant: The Agatston Urban Nutrition Initiative, a non-profit organization that is part of the Netter Center, received a $900,000 grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health which will enable the creation of the Growing Together Internship Program. This three-year project builds upon AUNI and is intended to create an effective model for University-assisted community and youth development that can be replicated in other cities. More details and images will be published in a future issue.

Golkin Hall: The Law School announced the name of its new building at the ceremonial ground-breaking on July 22. Golkin Hall, which had been referred to as the Sansom Street Project, is being built where Pepper Hall had been located; it will connect the school’s existing buildings: Silverman Hall and Tannenbaum Hall. The new building is named for Perry Golkin, W’74, WG’74, L’78, Penn Law Board of Overseers member. More details and images will be published in a future issue.
