The Caring Center’s 20th Anniversary Gala

On Saturday, November 12, The Caring Center is celebrating its 20th anniversary, “Sustaining the Legacy—Ensuring the Future,” with A Night in Monte Carlo at the World Cafe Live at 3025 Walnut Street, from 8 p.m. to midnight. The black tie optional gala will include gaming, live music, silent auction, dinner and cocktails. Also, to commemorate their 20th anniversary, the Center has commissioned a new limited edition print, signed and numbered “A Legacy of Love & Learning” by Larry “Poncho” Brown.

The Caring Center, formerly known as the ISI Center for Children and Parents, was established in 1982 by the Institute for Scientific Information. In 1990 the Center became a non-profit entity founded by parents and staff to deliver exemplary early childhood education and promote family and community development.

The Center, located at 31st and Spring Garden streets, is nationally accredited by NAEYC, PA Keystone Stars Four Star (the highest designation) in Pennsylvania’s “Keystone Stars” Early Childhood Learning Initiative and Pa PK Counts. It is an independent child care center and academic school for children six weeks to ten years old. The Center is dedicated to the highest quality child care and education possible. The Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) presented the Center a ‘Best Place to Work Award.’
