Sustainability Director: Max Zahniser	Print Issue

Max Zahniser is the new director of sustainability in Penn’s Business Services Division; he joined Penn last month. Mr. Zahniser will oversee the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives on behalf of the division. In 2007 he started the technical sustainability consulting company Praxis Building Solutions LLC, as well as The Sustainability NEXUS, a non-profit organization which is coalescing social and environmental initiatives in the Philadelphia region. He has served as director of sustainability at Wallace Roberts & Todd (WRT), and as LEED certification manager and LEED process & integration program manager for the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

Mr. Zahniser currently develops and teaches sustainability curriculum as USGBC LEED faculty, and at Drexel University, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Moore College of Art & Design and others. He received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Drexel University.
