PDF
Print Issue
September 25, 2012, Volume 59, No. 05

Losing someone close to you is one of life’s most difficult obstacles. With emotions already running high, planning the funeral can leave you feeling overwhelmed. But help is close at hand.

In partnership with Aetna (Penn’s life insurance carrier) and Everest (a nationwide funeral planning service), you have easy access to pre-planning and at-need funeral and concierge services at no cost. Counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you with the entire funeral process so you can focus on your own grief without being overwhelmed by other details. From funeral costs and financial advice to estate planning and legal services, everything you need to make informed decisions will be right at your fingertips.

All faculty and staff enrolled in any of the University’s life insurance plans are eligible for this benefit. For more details, see www.hr.upenn.edu/benefits/insurance/everest.aspx
