The Associate Provost manages the academic personnel process including recruitment, appointments, promotions, tenure cases, grievances, oversight of faculty policy changes, and administrative review of faculty policies. Accordingly, the Associate Provost mantains the Handbook for Faculty and Academic Administrators.

In addition, the Office of Student Conduct reports to the Associate Provost.
