Star Bar Organics

Mary Rakowski began making STARBARS because she found herself disappointed with the quality and value of the available protein bars on the market. Taking the matter into her own hands, Mary began baking handmade protein bars that are 100% vegan, organic and wheat-free. STARBARS do not contain any dairy, hydrogenated oils, genetically modified ingredients, or preservatives.

Albert's Organics

Albert’s Organics has five regional farms across the country with one located right in our backyard, less than 30 miles from campus in Bridgeport, New Jersey. Albert’s grows an astonishing 250 varieties of organic fruits and vegetables and also carries fresh organic beef, poultry, pork, and cheese, eggs, milk, and yogurt.

Briggs Poultry

AM Briggs is a family-run business that supplies local meat, poultry, and game to the Maryland area community supported agriculture cooperatives (CSA). It has been consistently named “Supplier of the Year” for meat and poultry and it employs close to 100 people and serves close to 700 customers each year.

Sauder's Eggs

Sauder’s Eggs is a family-run business located in nearby Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and was the first egg producer in PA to implement the Animal Welfare Guidelines. They provide their animals with enough space to prevent stress from crowding or aggressive behavior. Sauder’s is a PA Preferred company that promotes local food products, helps maintain farmland, and works to promote economic viability for other small farms.

Amoroso's Bakery

The Amoroso bakery recently celebrated 100 years in Philadelphia. It was founded in 1904 at its original location, North 64th Street in Philadelphia. It later moved to a larger facility and, in its current location on S. 55th Street, it has remained a mainstay of the Philadelphia community. Amoroso’s Baking Company has a workforce of over 250 employees from the Philadelphia area and has a longstanding pledge to support local charities.

Claudio's Cheese

Claudio’s Cheese shop is a family-owned business on South 9th Street in the Italian Market. They have been in business for over 50 years and sell olive oil, coffee, pasta, and cheese. Their fresh mozzarella is made on site.
