Save the Date for the 20th Anniversary PHENND Conference

This will be a two-day national conference which will highlight the work of PHENND and other similar regional networks around the country. Panel presentations and hands on workshops on topics such as:

  • Why the regional network
  • The Power of regional networks
  • How to start your own regional network - urban and rural
  • Institutionalizing service-learning on your campus
  • History and accomplishments of regional networks
  • Presentations of various models of regional networks
Also, plan to attend a gala dinner celebration the evening of February 28, 7 PM, at the Inn at Penn, 3600 Sansom Street where we will celebrate PHENND's 20 years of success with invited speaker Michael Nutter.

    Hotel and Travel
    A special rate at the Crowne Plaza Center City is available to conference participants of $139.00 per night for the evenings of February 27 and 28, 2008.  To book a room at the conference rate, please call 866-618-0410 and make mention of the "20th Anniversary PHENND Conference" to obtain the special rate.  The Crowne Plaza is located at 1800 Market Street, approximately 2 miles from the conference location.  The easiest mode of transportation between the hotel and the campus is the subway-surface trolleys of SEPTA.   See the map below.
