PHENND-Tech
PHENND-Tech is a branch of PHENND that primarily concentrates
on efforts towards bridging the Digital Divide. As an information
sharing and networking group, it developed to help combat the strain on resources
that several technology programs are facing by encouraging cooperation
between existing groups as well as serving as a resource for other institutes
of higher education interested in technology based community outreach.
The initiative focuses on four components: refurbishment, computer literacy,
technical support, and funding. We are currently
exploring possibilities for collaborative grant-writing to fund each
component more fully.
