This site has a calendar of national events, statistics and facts about homelessness and publications resources.  They also include policy background & legislation so that you can take action and be informed.  They also give an outline of different projects that deal with homelessness in better ways than most so you can check out some successfull programs.

National Coalition for the Homeless

Like the National Alliance to End Homelessness, this organization has a very extensive website.  Browse the library, read the publications and newsletter or search the directory of organizations dealing with homelessness. Find out about events, helpful links and become a member.

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans - Policy Issues

If you are interested in policies concerning homeless veterans, this is the site to visit.  This site also gives you guidelines on how to help the effort to reduce the amount of homeless veterans and start your own organization.
 

National Health Care for the Homeless Council

This organization serves as a legal arm representing the homeless and is chock full of reports, press releases and information about the legal fight against homelessness.  Among the useful information available here for the homeless is civil and legal rights, education for homeless children and food stamps .
