ABCS Fast Facts 2006-2007

During the 2006-2007 academic year, Academically Based Community Service (ABCS) courses will have been offered across 21 departments and in 8 of the professional schools.


Overall increase in the number of ABCS courses, faculty, and students from 1991-2006:
  • 1991-92: 4 ABCS courses, 3 faculty & 100 students
  • 1995-96: 20 ABCS courses, 19 faculty & 500 students
  • 2000-01: 38 ABCS courses, 34 faculty & 925 students
  • 2005-06: 53 ABCS courses, 44 faculty & 1446 students

  • Fall 2006: 24 ABCS courses, 20 faculty & 810 students
  • Spring 2007:  33 ABCS courses, 29 faculty,  # of students TBD
