Join us for the 6th Annual
Academically Based Community Service Summit!
Wednesday, April 29
11:00am-5:00pm
Houston Hall's Hall of Flags
Co-sponsors:
Student Committee on Undergraduate Education
Undergraduate Assembly
Each year, the ABCS Summit brings together students, faculty, administrators, and
community partners for a day of thoughtful examination and discussion
concerning the current state and future of Academically Based
Community Service (ABCS), as well as its larger role within the University.
At the
Netter Center for Community Partnerships, we see powerful effects of ABCS coursework on Penn
undergraduates every day. As we engage in service on Penn's campus and
throughout Philadelphia, we increase positive interactions between Penn and
surrounding communities as well as integrate the knowledge, teaching,
research, and service at Penn. Now we look to further the success
and reach of our programming and hope that leaders from around Penn's campus
can join in this discussion.
