Interfaith Program & Awards Ceremony
On Thursday January 24th 2013 the Office of the Chaplain proudly hosted our annual Interfaith Program as part of the University of Pennsylvania's Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Symposium of Social Change
This year's event included remarks from Penn President Dr Gutmann and our guest speakers - activist, author, poet and playwright Sonia Sanchez and journalist, author, activist and founder of Rap Sessions Bakari Kitwana,
The evening also included musical performances from African Rhythms, Shabbatones, New Spirit of Penn Gospel Choir and Matthew Clayton and culminates with the presentation of the MLK community awards. .jpg)
