Religious Life Liaison Program

The Chaplain's Religious Life Liaison Program (RLLS) serves both a programmatic and a resource role within the College House System. The program, first organized in the Spring of 2000, serves to encourage activities and programs in the college houses around topics of religion and spiritual practices. The Liaisons work with the College Houses and the University Chaplain to develop an interfaith and ecumenical religious presence and create a greater sense of religious community campus-wide. Each of the RLLs organizes events that stimulate interaction and conversations about values, meaning, spirituality and religion. The RLL program and its activities are non-sectarian. However, they are intended to bring together students from a wide variety of religious perspectives as well as those members of the Penn community who are religiously unaffiliated.

In addition, the RLLs participate in several major campuswide events during the school year. Among these include the MLK Interfaith Program and the What Matters to Me and Why program. If you have any questions about the program or are interested in joining us, please contact Rev. Charles L. Howard or any of the RLLs Listed below for more information.
