Collaborating with Others

Penn+Box provides a robust set of tools to facilitate collaboration with colleagues and teams. To ensure that collaborators who are eligible to use the Penn+Box service create an account on Penn's service instead of the Box.com consumer service, invite your team members to create an account on Penn+Box prior to inviting them to collaborate on your folder. Send them a link to instructions for "Getting Started with Penn+Box" via email to walk them through the process.

Individuals without an active Penn Student, Faculty, or Staff affiliation can still collaborate within the Penn+Box space using their institution's Box account by creating a personal account on the Box consumer service. See "Collaborating with people outside of Penn".

Work with your Local Support Provider (LSP) if it is critical to have an individual from outside of Penn (visiting scholars, post-docs, contractors, etc.) have an account on Penn+Box.
