Assets Data Collection

The Assets data collection is a subset of the University Data Warehouse containing data from the BEN Assets module of BEN Financials. The Assets data collection contains current and historic information about building, fixed, movable and land assets at Penn.

Refresh Schedule
Includes the collection's refresh schedule, source of the collection's data, and the time span covered.

Data Diagrams
Each diagram illustrates the architecture of a specific Business Objects universe, and identifies joins. While viewing a diagram, you can also display its table documentation. If you need to print a diagram, print it in portrait orientation.

Tables and Data Elements
To ensure you have the most recent version, use the documentation online as opposed to printing it.

Corporate Documents
The Business Objects Corporate Documents area provides access to pre-defined, prompt-driven reports that you can run to retrieve a standardized perspective on your BEN Assets data.

Data Training
Provides access to training for the Assets data collection. Includes prerequisites and instructions for data training.

Data Security
Lists policies and guidelines that are specific to this data collection, questions you should ask before you fulfill a request for Assets data, and how to safeguard data stored on your personal computer. Also includes a link to Penn's Information and Security Privacy page.
