How do I forward mail from one account to another?
Using Account Services to set up mail forwarding
- Log on to Account Services website.
- Choose "Mail Forwarding" link from the left column menu.
Using shell access to set up mail forwarding
The forward command allows you to forward your
incoming mail to a valid account elsewhere. At [MAIN MENU] prompt, type settings to
bring up the [SETTINGS MENU]. You
should see the following menu:

passwd - Change password for pennuser@pobox.upenn.edu
menus on|off [ON ] - Enable or disable menus at logon
forward on|off [OFF] - Enable or disable mail forwarding
vacation on|off|edit [OFF] - Enable, disable, or change vacation message
signature on|off|edit [OFF] - Enable, disable, or change automatic signature
termtype [vt220] - Set the type of terminal
help - Enter HELP for information on this server
main - Return to main menu
logout - End this session on this server

Use '<command> on' to enable a setting, '<command> off' to disable it,
and '<command> edit' to change the text associated with a setting.
Enter a menu command, or press enter to display the settings menu
Type forward on to enable mail forwarding. You will then be
prompted with:
Please enter the forwarding address:
After typing in the forwarding address, press <enter>. Type
main to return to the [MAIN MENU].
To disable mail forwarding at any time, type forward off from
the [SETTINGS MENU].
