Basic Security users may use TLS to encrypt POP,IMAP, and SMTP authentication. These settings are the same for both Macintosh and PC clones. Users are recommended to use Outlook2003 or above. Accounts can be configured in E-mail Accounts under the Tools menu.
(Enhanced security using Kerberos is not available for Outlook users. Please use Eudora 5.2.1 or above instead.)
Prerequisite
Outlook 2003 Users will require the hotfix 839629 from Microsoft to be installed in order to connect to the SMTP server correctly using TLS. Please ask your LSP to provide you with this.
