Supported Products - Spring 2002 - Desktop Hardware Guidelines

The minimum desktop system recommendations for next year, from the 1999-2000 Desktop Recommendations, are:

Hardware Processor Pentium III (450 MHz) PowerPC G3 (350 MHz)
Memory (RAM) 128 MB 128 MB
Hard Disk 9 GB 9 GB
Monitor 17-inch Color SVGA, 75 MHz
refresh rate (15-inch minimum)
17-inch Color, 75 MHz refresh
rate (15-inch minimum)
Operating System Windows 98/NT Workstation 4.0 Mac OS 8.6

Supported products selected should run on these systems. Support for older "legacy" systems is also desirable, but teams can rely on the supported products distributed last year for users with computers that do not meet these specifications.
